Welcome to the weekend! This week we got our hands on the tyPad 2, a keyboard case for the iPad; the Scan-tini, a portable scanner from Canon; and the unique Karotz, a robo-rabbit that reads aloud your RSS feeds, Facebook posts, Twitter feed and more.
Two of the hottest items to also come into our office were the Samsung Galaxy Note — a phone that can’t make up its mind if it’s a tablet (or is it the other way around?) — and the highly anticipated successor to the PlayStation Portable, the PlayStation Vita. Read on to find out what we thought!
Like other iPad keyboard cases, the tyPad 2 helps shield Apple's tablet from wear and tear and lets users type more comfortably than with the on-screen keyboard. What makes this accessory stand out is the rubberized membrane layout, which can help protect against spills. Plus, the velcro design keeps your iPad from flopping around. Read on to find out if this add-on is worth $99.
