Dolphinity Racer (free) is a hard-core racing game. It is used as the basis for expensive racing simulators built by Cruden, and it sports painstakingly realistic physics.

Dolphinity Racer is an extremely realistic racing game.Driving a car in Racer feels close to driving a real car, but not always in a fun way: The vehicle can easily swerve out of control, and it takes quite a bit of patience to start driving, especially if you're used to more toy-like racing games. It's not a game for a casual test drive, but one for serious racing enthusiasts.

Take realistic Driving Speed 2 racing game for a spin

Feel like going for a drive? To play a racing game that's realistic, but not as gruelingly so as Dolphinity Racer, take Driving Speed 2 (free) for a spin. Driving Speed 2 feels a bit more like a game, although your car can still easily drift and spin out of control.

Driving Speed 2 has a satisfyingly realistic look—but depending on how well you drive in this game, your car won't stay this shiny.If your car rubs up against the sidewall as you race in Driving Speed 2, you will see sparks fly. Your car also becomes increasingly more dented as you bump into other cars and walls, but it does not easily flip over or lend itself to crazy aerobatics.

Driving Speed 2 runs only in full-screen mode, so if you need to lower your monitor's default resolution to get it to run smoothly, the graphics may end up looking stretched and pixelated.
