$249 Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Reviewed: Better Than the Kindle Fire?

Samsung is serious about growing its share of the exploding tablet market, which is why the company is going right after the Amazon Kindle Fire with its new Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. This 7-inch slate running Android 4.0 has plenty of perks, including the ability to control your TV, microSD expansion, dual cameras and 50GB of Dropbox storage for one year.

You can also get your media fix through Samsung’s multiple hubs, whether you’re looking for movies, music or time-killing games. Other specs include a 1-GHz dual-core processor, a 1024 x 600p display, and 8GB of onboard memory.
